Sunto
The magnetic properties of the CeBe13, CeB4, CeB6, Ce2C3 and CeC2 compounds have been determined in the temperature range from +200° C to -195°C. In agreement with the structural results, it has been found that the valency of Cerium, in CeBe13, CeB4 and Ce2C3, is greater than three at room temperature, and this value increases considerably at lower temperatures. The magnetic behaviour of CeB6 and CeC2 cannot be easily connected with the structural results.
